The gameplay itself is satisfying, especially during the time when I was introduced to my first staff from a desert temple. It does involve heavy grinding though, so it's only for those who got time to spare and can tolerate grindy gameplay.

Forager is a building, crafting and exploration RPG tasking you with earning money to expand your land and explore new islands for loot and adventure. You will be tasked with quests by NPCs in exchange for unique items or power-ups that will help smooth over the rest of the journey. There is some level of automation in the game, but not a lot, and by late game you'll be hoarding massive amounts of resources to bulk craft whatever you need to the point of getting way too grindy.
