At the start, you're running around, supplying your shops and cleaning with the fun bubble gun while Tourists roam the town. You are building shops and houses to invite new people into your town and make them work for you. There's farming at the Forestry Zone, Mining Zone, Fishing Zone and Farming Zone to supply those shops until you've unlocked automation.
