Gameplay-wise and mechanically, aside from the typical satisfaction that comes with games of this type, this one feels somewhat subpar. Much of that stems from the developer’s intentional experimentation in translating the cumbersome nature of rolling a massive ball—aptly named the Katamari—into an immersive player experience.
