Mafia 2 tells the story of Vito Scaletta, a war veteran coming back home determined to make a better life for himself than his father left behind for him and his family. Him and his long time friend Joe start at the bottom, doing small jobs before getting involved with the family, and the higher ups. There are some really good moments, but the story hits a lot of similar beats that the first one did, and it takes a while to really get going.
