Behaviour Interactive Inc. is Canada’s largest independent game studio, founded in 1992 in Quebec City (later based in Montreal). It now employs nearly 1,300 people across offices in Montreal, Toronto, Seattle, the UK, and the Netherlands. Over three decades, the studio has developed more than 250 titles, balancing original IPs like Dead by Daylight—their flagship multiplayer survival horror game with over 60 million players with extensive contract work, including QA, porting, localization, and co-development for major publishers such as Microsoft, Disney, Sony, and EA.
